Die Racks
The most important element in a quick die change program is the pre-staging of dies. Without this feature quick die change would be impossible. With pre-staging, we can do all of the location and positioning work of the next die on the subplate, prior to going into the press and more importantly while the press is in operation.

Pre-staging removes the crane or other forms of die moving equipment from the die change process. Thus greatly reducing the time required to change dies.

Atlas die racks are a heavy-duty welded construction equipped with caterpillar type rollers and a spring loaded anti-rollout device. Hardened steel side guides are used to control the left to right location of the subplate for precise location and positioning.

Atlas die racks provide a convenient method of pre-staging new dies for quick die change.
