Finger Tooling
Atlas articulated FLEX gripper and finger tooling gives you fast setup and reusability for future applications. The unique design allows operators of transfer presses to quickly set up or adjust the location and angle of the fingers and/or grippers to achieve faster try-out and set up of correct finger position for maximum production reliability.

Although tooling fingers are typically set up and then left dedicated to one part, the recyclability of the Atlas flexible tooling, combined with its increased setup efficiency can lower the overall cost of transfer press operation.

Unlike hard tooled transfer fingers, Atlas flexible tooling can be re-used for subsequent part production after the initial setup. The articulated fingers can be readjusted and remounted to the transfer rail to meet the requirements of varying stamped part sizes, shapes and configurations. In contrast to other universal finger tooling, Atlas has designed a flexible joint with a swivel assembly that allows one axis to be adjusted at a time without losing orientation of other axis.

Atlas also offers various levels of engineering support, including installation and launch assistance.
